Jim Heeney, AAMS® | financial advisor
Jim graduated from the University of Kansas, where he also played baseball, with a BS in business administration. He then spent 15 years with Koch Industries in Wichita, KS before moving into the investment business in 1999 with AG Edwards.
He returned home in 2013 to Overland Park, KS. He joined Pegasus Capital Management in 2014 and brought along Client Relationship Manager Ashley Goeken, who continues to work with his clients.
Jim continues to enjoy working with families on their wealth management as part of the Pegasus Capital Management* team. He acquired his AAMS degree from the College for Financial Planning in 2006.
Jim’s parents and siblings are all in the Kansas City area. He has three adult children in Wichita, Denver and Kansas City and earned the title of “grandpa” in 2020. He enjoys living in Kansas City and being close to family, friends, Lawrence and the Royals. Jim has a love for the outdoors and enjoys spending time in Colorado running, biking, hunting and fishing in the cool mountain air.
Jim is a board member for University of Kansas K-Club.
